Celebrity is the fame and public attention accorded by the mass media to individuals or groups or, occasionally, animals, but is usually applied to the persons or groups of people (celebrity couples, families, etc.) themselves who receive such a status of fame and attention. In the next few months there will be many indictments and arrests of people who are well known and generally respected. Charges will range from bribery, extortion, fraud, corruption, human trafficking and even pedophilia. Politicians, CEO’s, Hollywood celebrities and many of the “elite” will finally see that they aren’t above the law.
